Our French Bulldog History

Jennifer and Steve have been a family breeder of Bulldogs for 20 years.  We started breeding English Bulldogs and moved to French Bulldogs (Frenchies) in 2016.  Recently, we have moved to the country for a more farm-centric life. We purposefully produce only one to two litters of French Bulldog puppies a year so we can provide a loving and attentive environment to raise our pups.  We work hard with other breeders while monitoring our line’s genetics to help create happy, healthy puppies ensuring future generations will pass on only the most desirable qualities associated with this amazing breed.  While they are with us on our little farm, they are treated as members of our family. Admittedly, it is hard to see them move on to their new homes as we come to love them while they are with us.  However, it is always satisfying to see the happiness that is created when our pups connect with their new owners.

Breeding Information & Frenchie Policy and Pricing

Price of a puppy is largely determined by supply and demand. However, there are also many expenses associated with producing a healthy litter that are factored into the cost of each individual puppy. To get a clear understanding of what it takes to produce a healthy litter of French Bulldog puppies, please see the break down below:

Our female: $6,500 (She is our pet as well) plus the cost of regular vet visits, food, supplements, toys, crate, leashes, collars, genetic and health testing, etc.

The following costs apply to each litter:

  • Progesterone testing $300-$600

  • Stud fee $2,500-$10,000

  • shipment of semen $300-$500

  • AI procedure $50-$250

  • C-section $1,750

  • Food & supplement costs until pups go home $2500+

  • Vaccinations, dewormer, antibiotics, flea/tick prevention $500

  • Litter exam $400 plus unforeseen additional/unexpected expenses +++

    Other factors that are factored into cost are genetic health, color, pedigree, and over all confirmation.

Additionally, while our French Bulldog pups are with us, they receive our full attention. There are no days off and when there are newborn babies in our home, there isn’t a lot of sleep to go around. Unless of course you are a new French Bulldog puppies.

I hope this helps you understand the complexity of the cost of raising a healthy, well-socialized French Bulldog puppy. We do it because we love it and enjoy it as a family.  We want to produce happy, healthy puppies that will be great pets for other Frenchie families.  Although it would be great to keep them all, it is just not possible.  Our goal is to find amazing families for these fabulous creatures to join.
